As part of our mandate to assist small businesses develop, plan and grow, the staff at Westcoast offer complimentary advisory services to our registered client base. People who have completed the "Starting a Business in Vancouver" workshop, the "Business Development" workshop series, or the 48 Week Self Employment program are able to access our staff for information and advice.

We invite you to attend a free Business Information Session every Wednesday, where a qualified business advisor will answer your questions and gives guidance in this informative 2 hour workshop that will help you:

• Identify where they are on the Business Start-up Map
• Become focused and in a new mindset
• Eliminate the myths about business start-up
• Understand the modules of business and their relationship to the business plan
• Learn what market research is and how to do it
• Prepare for writing a business plan
• Understand the resources available and how to properly use them
